Donald Mattersdorff has twenty-one years of experience as an investment advisor for institutions, mutual funds and private investors. In 1998, Mr. Mattersdorff started D. Mattersdorff. The firm is dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. Mr. Mattersdorff has built a distinctive brand of advice based on long term investment horizons, a bias towards value, and unsurpassed levels of customer service. Mr. Mattersdorff began his career in 1987 as a securities analyst at the Putnam Family of Mutual Funds in Boston, where he worked with the private clientele of that firm. At Putnam, Mr. Mattersdorff became a portfolio manager, with responsibility for portfolio management and client relations for the accounts under his advice. In 1994, he moved to GT Global in San Francisco, where he performed a similar role. Mr. Mattersdorff is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He graduated with honors from Dartmouth College in 1984.
