Dailey engineering is an extraordinary company. Not only are their products top of the line but their service is even better. I call them with a custom oil pump configuration and they designed, manufactured and shipped three pumps too me in less than a week. Most places you call can't even get back you in a week to take down your specifications let alone make the parts. There pumps look great and function great. The total experience of working with them was wonderful. If I ever need another oil pump I know right were to go, Dailey engineering.
Dailey Engineering also designs and manufactures custom Dry Sump Oil Pans from billet 6061 T6 aluminum. With our "Signature Series" integral Dry Sump Oil Systems, the oil pump bolts directly to the oil pan thus eliminating the A/N lines between the oil pump and oil pan. All scavenge lines are internally machined into the oil pan eliminating the costly weight and expense of external scavenge A/N lines. We currently have over 50 Dry Sump Systems available.
Dailey Engineering specializes in custom Dry Sump Oil Pumps, with Roots Style scavenge rotors and spur gear pressure sections, for all levels of racing engines. Our Founder, Bill Dailey, has been active for over 28 years in the design of racing engines. With the design of world class racing engines under his belt, he now focuses his attention specifically to Dry Sump oil systems.
When Electramotive Engineering Inc. was purchased by Nissan Motorsports and the newly formed (NPTI) Nissan Performance Technology Inc. was created, Bill was placed in charge of the CNC department. It was during this period of time Bill honed his ability to rapidly prototype parts. It was not uncommon for a sketch on a napkin to show up Friday from the race track from the likes of Don Devendorf or Trevor Harris with a request for the part to show up on Saturday. These rapidly designed and manufactured parts were often used that weekend and one of the key's to the success of the Nissan GTP program. We miss the day of the true prototype race car.
