Description

Strengthening education through service is the credo of Dallas County Schools. As an intermediate educational agency, its team of over 1,000 professionals strive daily to serve Dallas County's 15 independent school districts.Dallas County Schools has one of the 10 largest pupil transportation fleets in the United States. Operating a fleet of over 1200 buses, Dallas County Schools transports approximately 60,000 children to and from school safely each day. All of Dallas County Schools' 1200 buses are housed in DCS' seven service centers.Our Technology Department helps integrate state of the art technology across all our DCS groups. Videos on demand, on-line test assessment, on-line continuing education and internet services are all examples of this service.
