Dallimonti's Restaurant is proud of it's involvement and support of the community it serves. For many years, Dallimonti's has helped sponsor teams in the field of athletics: Baseball, Softball, Bocce Ball, Basketball, Little League, Swim Teams, and Bicycle Clubs. Many schools and service organizations have also benefited by Dallimonti's support, yet their Annual Golf Tournament to benefit United Cerebral Palsy of the Golden Gate is the largest event they produce. Each June they sponsor a golf tournament at Boundary Oak Golf Course in Walnut Creek to benefit U.C.P. Over the years, Dallimonti's has raised nearly $200,000 for programs and services for children and adults with disabilities, with the help of the efforts, generosity and support of the golfers, sponsors, and volunteers. Due to the commitment in helping the community and beyond, the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce presented Ron and Christy the Business Person of the Year Award for the year 2000. It was indeed a special tribute that reflected the dedication and support Dallimonti's has had for their community for all these years.
