Dance Elite and Music specializes in jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, lyrical, and musical theatre instruction for students ages 2 through high school. We offer piano, guitar and vocal, private and semi-private lessons for ages 5 and up. We create a low pressure, non-competitive environment with a focus on technique, fitness, music composition and most of all, fun. Our classroom environment is structured and will enable your child to excel while embracing the discipline and art of dance and music. We have been serving the Everett, Mill Creek, Bothell and Lynnwood area for over 10 years.

Ellen Cooper was born in Olympia, WA where she began her dance training in ballet, jazz and theatre dance. She received a BFA in Dance, Magna Cum Ladue, from Cornish College of the Arts in 2012. Ellen is a member of Khambatta Dance Company, where she performs modern and contemporary dance both locally and nationally. In addition to performing, Ellen loves working with youth of all ages. She teaches with Pacific Northwest Ballet in their DISCOVER DANCE program as well as teaching ballet and creative dance in several local studios.

I grew up in the midwest, where I started dance at the age of 4. During high school I had the opportunity to travel the US and Canada with a dance convention for two summers training with the faculty. I grew up dancing a variety of styles of dance; ballet, jazz, tap, modern, hip hop and lyrical. I graduated from University of Iowa with a BA while teaching dance at a number of different studios. My favorite classes to teach are the little kids. They are always so excited and full of energy :) With over 20 years of teaching experience I enjoy sharing my experiences with my staff and creating a positive environment for not just our students but also for our teachers.

My name is Gabriella, Gabe for short, and I have been dancing ever since I could walk. From the first time I stepped into a dance class, I knew that my passion for the art of dance would carry with me throughout time. From my tiny pink leotard and matching shoes and tights, to a University of Washington Cheerleading uniform, I have experienced, and loved, every type of dance. Although I have experience in numerous dance genres, including the JHS Dance Team, Edmonds CC Dance Team, Huskies Dance Team, and the UW Pom Team, the area that has enriched my life the most is passing on my passion for dance to my students. I have been with Dance Elite since I was 13 and have loved every minute of it. I now teach Lyrical and Jazz and can honestly say that the days that I teach are the best parts of my week.

When you can enjoy the experience of our one-on-one instruction from one of our talented music teachers! As popular as our dance school is, Dance Elite’s Music Program has really taken off this last year, and we are so excited to be offering piano, singing lessons, guitar, and music theory! Our music instructors all hold university degrees in the areas that they specialize in and strive to inspire their students whilst enriching their lives with music. Families can pick from 30 minute private and semi-private lessons. You don't even have to buy a guitar! But if you want to continue practicing at home, we are working with Guitar Center in Lynnwood for any rental needs you might have.
