Description
Founded in the late 1980's, Danish Teak Classics specializes in the kind of furniture known as "Danish Modern" design - that is, furniture and accessories mainly designed and produced during the mid-20th century in Denmark. We search Denmark for well preserved, classic examples of this furniture, by known designers of this period such as Hans J Wegner, Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen, Borge Mogensen, etc, as well as high quality, well made pieces by lesser known designers. We ship our finds to our warehouse in the United States, where we restore the furniture to near-original condition, at the same time preserving the rich patina acquired over a half-century. In addition to our vintage collection, we also carry newly made furniture from a few Danish factories that have continued to produce classic pieces from that period.
