Danny Pickett paints with intense energy, vivacious colors and an eye for primal essence emanating from the core of his subjects. He uses acrylic paint to translate flowers, landscapes and the human form into fantastic hyper-impressionist renderings on canvas. His goal is to show the energy of the subject through his color selection. Danny maintains a studio in Galveston, Texas and travels frequently to Colorado and Thailand. For Danny, the experience of living in America combined with frequent travel overseas inspires new approaches and subject matter. In the past six years, he has thrown himself into his work with great success, selling over 200 original paintings to collectors from the United States, Mexico, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Kuwait and Thailand.
