Description

Photographer Darko Zagar was born in Belgrade , Serbia . Washington DC area has been his main residence since 1991. Darko commercial interest are food, lifestyle and architectural photography. He enjoys working on personal projects which allows him freedom to create photographic art following directions of many European surreal artists. Whatever his subject might be, he approaches it with aspiration to create bold, graphic and design driven image. Darko has been regular contributor to editorial clients such as: Washington Post (At Home Magazine, Home Section, and Food Section) Modern Luxury Magazines (DC), Town and Country, Food Arts, Metropolitan Home, Washingtonian Magazine... His client list in food industry includes celebrity chefs with national and international recognitions such as Jose Andres (Think Food Group), Wolfgang Puck (Fine Dinning Group) Todd Gray (Equinox), Yannick Camm (Le Paradou) Ann Cashion ( Cashion Eat Place ), Frank Morales (Zola, Neighborhood Group)... Furthermore, Darko is associated with members in DC chapters of National Association of Remodeling Industry, The American Institute of Architects and American Society of Interior Designers. He has photographed many winning architecture and design award projects. Darko's architectural and design clients are Griz Form Design Architects, Barry Dixon Inc, Megerian Oriental Rugs, Ark Contracting... Darko's latest personal project is titled "Dreams".
