DataCo opened its doors in 1993 with a novel idea in the data-analytics field. We decided to actively collaborate with clients so we could better understand their marketing goals and simultaneously provide them better service and more useful information relative to the entire customer lifecycle. Many clients were used to working with data-analytics professionals who simply issued book-length reports with little consultation. But when clients saw DataCoa s results, our collaborative-focus was validated. Because we were in frequent discussion with clients, our analyses were relevant. Clients soon came to trust that every assignment we handled would result in a plan that would be actionable and insightful, not just something to read and file away. Today, DataCo integrates qualitative research with analytical tools, to help clients identify the drivers of customer loyalty. We have helped clients understand, from their customersa perspective, what drives loyalty, create action plans to improve persistency, target the right customers for marketing treatment and ultimately improve customer retention rates.
