DataLAN Systems, Inc. was founded and incorporated as a Pennsylvania based S Corporation with all of its stock privately held. DataLAN Systems, Inc. was incorporated on November 11, 2000. Initially, DataLAN Systems devoted itself to computer network related service work, local area network (LAN) installation, and custom built business PCs. The company set itself up with Microsoft as an OEM System Builder and a Registered Microsoft Partner. Soon, however, it became apparent that the technology that was used for the installation of local area networks was converging with that of telephone networks, alarm systems and access control. On January 1st 2002 DataLAN Systems, Inc. proudly opened the low voltage side of their company.
