In 1994, a small group of caring ladies with a concern and passion for the welfare of the children of Union County formed the New Albany chapter of Junior Auxiliary. The Junior Auxiliary of New Albany is a member of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries. This is a non-profit organization founded on the principles of helping children and families. Junior Auxiliary chapters are located across the southeast portion of the United States. The symbol for the National Association is the crown shown above. Its five points symbolize the ideals of Charity, Youth, Health, Leadership, and Service.
