Dave’s Woodworking began in 1996 in a garage with Dave Marlowe building custom furniture. When Dave moved to a larger shop in Spring Valley Ca. in 1998 he quickly began getting referrals for jobs of a much larger scale. He got his C-6 contractors license (#769634) and began building, finishing and installing custom cabinets. For many of the projects he undertook he would subcontract with Karl Nester to do either manual drafting for presentations and later computer generated drawings. In 2001 Dave’s Woodworking moved to their current location in Chula Vista, California. Since 2001 growth has been steady and in 2007 Dave and Karl formed M&N Woodworking Incorporated We currently use Cabinet Vision design software for precision and the ultimate in 3-D presentations which we can bring directly to the client. We use a CNC router to cut out and machine many of the basic parts that go into most products but to insure the best quality we have quality craftsman that assemble and fit every part of every product. The CNC process has many advantages, speed, accuracy and it cuts down on waste. All our products are proudly made in the USA. We have access to the best and most ecologically responsible materials and our finishes are all California Air Resources Board Compliant (CARB). They also meet the strict requirements of the Kitchen Cabinet Manufactures Association (KCMA). We install everything ourselves, to insure that your project is completed with the quality, courtesy and competence you expect.
