David Fichter has been painting large-scale public murals for over 20 years, working with a variety of community groups, public art agencies, universities, public schools, libraries and private companies. He has painted over 200 colorful, figurative murals whose themes and images were developed collaboratively with specific communities, reflecting their history, identity, and social and environmental heritage. He has created major murals in Atlanta, Georgia; Cambridge and Somerville, Massachusetts; Los Angeles, California; Granger, Washington; and Madison, Wisconsin.
