The David H. Sutherland Company (DHSCO) was founded in 1951 as a one-man operation working out of a phone booth in the lobby of a hotel in downtown Portland, OR. At that time our founder, David Sutherland, was soley exporting North American products in Asia. Over the last 59 years the world has changed quite a bit. DHSCO has grown to become a full service international trade organization taking up a 20,000 square foot office/warehouse as well as becoming certified to international quality standards ISO 9001: 2000 & AS9120. We are also fortunate to have a wide variety of both supplier & customer partnerships domestically & internationally.
