After two years of development, the hospital opened at its present location as Daviess County Hospital in 1915. Many donors were responsible for supporting the growth of the hospital and as the need arose for more beds, the hospital expanded in 1927 and again in 1936. In 1951, a remodeling project increased the bed capacity to 120 beds, and in 1961, the demands for improved medical procedures required remodeling and expansion once more.
