Mary is a graduate of Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota and has over twenty years of experience in the insurance industry. After college, Mary taught English as a second language in Japan for two years. She returned to the U.S. and began her insurance career in Minneapolis, writing commercial health insurance contracts for Prudential Insurance. She moved to the brokerage side of the business when she joined Marsh & McLennan Companies, specializing in the placement of Executive Liability coverages. While at Marsh, Mary worked in both Minneapolis and Chicago.
