The Economic Development Department staff stands ready to help your business locate, grow and expand throughout our unique mix of urban and suburban communities.

Our mission is to do “whatever it takes” to help new businesses in our area. At the same time, the Council remains dedicated to retaining industry, service, retail and health care businesses already established in this region of Ohio.

The Dayton Ballet is the second oldest dance company in the nation and the only dance company in the nation that funds the development of new ballets. It is the only ballet company identified in the nation that has established a fund specifically for the creation of new works and produces a world premiere ballet every two years.

Edison Materials Technology Center (EMTEC)- a non-profit entity providing innovative programs and services that offer customized technology to market solutions for its members and clients.
