D ean, Jacobson Financial Services, LLC was founded in 1967 by William H. "Country" Dean. Until 1990, the Firm operated under the name of its founder, "William H. Dean & Associates." In 1980, Don A. "Jake" Jacobson joined Mr. Dean and began initiating much of the diversification of services that has fueled the Firm's success over the years. This dynamic partnership grew and flourished into a statewide comprehensive financial planning business that still thrives today. Jeffrey J. Schmeltekopf joined the Firm in 1989 and became owner/partner alongside Messrs. Dean and Jacobson in 1996. It was also in 1996 that the Firm became a Limited Liability Company (LLC).
