The DEC Success Story DEC was founded in 1991 by three entrepreneurs - Gaylan Yeung, May Lau and Ingko Oetomo on a simple premise: provide the best possible service and the highest possibly quality to customers in need of small batch electronic assembly. Almost 20 years later, DEC has grown into Southern California's premier provider of turn key, quick turn electronic assembly services, serving hundreds of customers in the aerospace, defense and electronics industries with fast prototyping, pre-production and small batch runs. An important part of DEC's relationship with its customers is based on the founders' personal, hands-on style of working with each customer on their project from beginning to end, providing recommendations on design and assembly processes, making sure that the most cost-efficient solution is provided. Even though the company has grown, and will continue to grow as we invest in the expansion and state of the art capability of our operation, we are committed to continue our close working relationships with our valued customers. Most of the same employees that joined DEC in the early days are still with the company. We are a truly a close knit family with one goal in mind: to be the best possible business partner to our customers, and providing the best possible quality and service. OmniPhase Defense Systems In August of 2008 DEC entered into a resource sharing agreement with its new affiliate OmniPhase Defense Systems aimed at further enhancing capabilities and resources for the benefit of our customers.
