Decatur Computers is based on a history of quality service and sound principals of business. From the beginning of Snyder's Information service in 1988 to the formation of Decatur Computers Inc. in 2001 our basic mission has and always will be the best job for the lowest cost. As founding father of Snyder's Information Service (S.I.S.) George Snyder provided computer users and small businesses with a knowledgeable and friendly technology solution. In the beginning it was George working out of his home. Soon the growing number of small business networks to maintain and a growing number of individual computer users needing service moved S.I.S. to an office and full time staff. George continued a steady pattern of growth and began training technicians and programmers from area colleges. In early 2000 Frank Saulsbery accepted and internship from S.I.S. and began his full time training. It wasn't long before Frank and George had formed an effective partnership. In October of 2001 Decatur Computers was formed under this partnership. The business structure had to be updated to allow for full time office techs and continued onsite business network support. Decatur Computers was well on its way to becoming the dominate computer and network solution for the Decatur area. Early in 2004 we realized that the business had outgrown our current facilities.
