Amalyssa J. Johnson, Ph.D. is a Clinical Psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of childhood and adolescent mental disorders. She has nearly 10 years of experience in the assessment of the autism spectrum disorders, learning problems; and emotional and behavioral disorders including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder, and childhood anxiety disorders. Additionally, Dr. Johnson has worked for several years teaching families effective parenting techniques and interactional styles. For Health Care Operations - DecisionPoint Behavioral Health may use and disclose health information for quality health care, and to maintain and improve the quality of health care we provide. (Examples: Chart reviews or transcription services.) 4. As required by Law - DecisionPoint Behavioral Health will disclose health information when required to do so by federal, state, or local law. (Examples: In response to a court order or subpoena; reporting victims of abuse or criminal conduct.) 5. For Public Health Reasons - DecisionPoint Behavioral Health may disclose health information for public health activities.
Dr. Donald E. Williams is a principal of DecisionPoint Behavioral Health with over 28 years of experience in clinical and clinical health psychology.
Prior to joining DecisionPoint Behavioral Health, Dr. Rasmussen was a Consultant and staff psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry & Psychology and the Department of Family Medicine at the Mayo Clinic for over 25 years. During his tenure at the Mayo Clinic, he was promoted to Associate Professor of Psychology and Family Medicine in the Mayo College of Medicine with over 50 peer reviewed publications and book chapters. Dr. Rasmussen has been awarded several honors including the State College of Iowa Hall of Excellence Award for Serving Health and Psychology with Distinction, the Mayo Department of Psychiatry & Psychology Distinguished Clinician Award, the Mayo Department of Family Medicine Silver Research Award, and the Rochester Principals Award In Recognition of Support and Service to Children.
Dr. Norman H. Rasmussen is a counseling psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of adolescent and adult mental health disorders and behavioral health challenges. He is licensed by the Minnesota State Board of Psychology and is a Board Certified Diplomate by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). Dr. Rasmussen has over 25 years of clinical experience in treating clients with depression, anxiety disorders, trauma & stress, substance related disorders, and marital and family problems. He provides individual psychotherapy, family therapy, parenting consultation, and behavioral health consultation.
