Welcome Deep Canyon Performance Horse is located in the foothills of the Little Belt Mountains, 40 miles from Great Falls, Montana. It is not only a beautiful location; it offers a variety of terrain that is a real asset when it comes to working the horses in the big outdoor arena, called real life. Each horse at the Deep Canyon Performance Horses is hand picked for their athletic ability, mind set, conformation, and eye appeal. All the horses, regardless of their age, start in the round pen when they are purchased by Deep Canyon Performance Horses. This is done to insure that every horse that leaves here has the ability to hook up to their new owners and have a respect for human authority. The next step is to determine what event each horse is most suited for, team roping, breakaway roping, or barrels. Of course some of them turn out to be really great ranch horses or pleasure horses. We are proud of the horse that we train at Deep Canyon Performance Horses and it is important to us that every horse and their new owner are truly matched in there individual event and abilities, whether that be team roping, barrel racing, breakaway, ranch work or just riding the trails. Deep Canyon is also proud to present one of the premier herds of Corriente cattle in our area. Our cattle are small bodied with very large horns. We offer steers and heifers for sale and for lease.
