At Deering Management Group, an Accredited Management Organization (AMO ®), we stress continuing formal and specialized education for our employees to keep abreast of changes in the industry. We accomplish this by attending approved BOMA, IREM and ICSC seminars, courses and events. We feel that this helps us to provide the best management service for our clients. We also feel that it is critically important to attract and train the best quality people we can find. In many companies, competent property managers are hampered by a lack of adequate support staff. An office that has an inadequate support staff can cause delays in client statements and reports, and possibly, a lack of sufficient attention to problems at the property. When a new property is acquired, the Principal Broker, the Broker, and the Property Accountant tour the project to introduce themselves to the tenants. We include the support staff in on-site visits and inspections to become familiar with the physical and administrative features of the project. Your management team will be assembled using the following professionals: President & Principal Broker - Mariann M. Deering Mariann Deering has over 27 years of experience in the commercial real estate field and will oversee all aspects of projects. She can, for example, be called upon to establish and implement a marketing plan, which includes supervision of leasing agents, if requested. She is responsible for tenant and client contact, and will ensure the orderly implementation of the owner's policies and directives. She will supervise all service contractors, and if called upon, tenant improvements and other capital projects. Mariann also implements the budgeting, planning, and is responsible for overall administration. Mariann started Deering Management Group 17 years ago, and is licensed in Oregon and Washington.
