First Shots with the NSSF The Del-Tone/Luth Gun Club is hosting a beginners training course, partnered with the NSSF on September 20th 2008. This course is free and covers the basics of handgun, rifle and shotgun safety and use. Call or visit the Club House to register. All Shooters (Non-Members) The Del-Tone/Luth Gun Club is open to the public for a fee of $12 per person per day. A photo ID will be required when checking in at the clubhouse. Speed Pass (returning soon) Speed Pass is a new service for shooters at the Del-Tone/Luth facility. Speed Pass simplifies access by completing a one-time registration process. Speed Pass users will complete the range rules and policies form during their first annual visit to the range. Upon completion, a Speed Pass will be issued and subsequent visits to the range will only require the presentation of the Speed Pass and a driver's license/state ID for instant access to the range. Simply sign and date the Range Rules form and you are on your way! Less paperwork, more range time! High Powered Rifle League Talks are underway to form a High Powered Rifle League similar to the NRA Service Matches held at Camp Perry every year. If you are interested in joining the new league please call the clubhouse. Conceal / Carry Classes Deltone/Luth Gun Club offers conceal carry classes approximately once per month. Call to reserve a spot in the next class. Mini 3-Gun Events With the incredible success of the Tri-Gun Challenge, the Del-Tone/Luth Club is hosting 3-gun events throughout the year. Challenging and exciting courses of fire will be created for each event ensuring variety. Call the clubhouse for additional details. 3-Gun Summer Training Courses 3-Gun Shooters! Del-Tone/Luth Gun Club is offering 3-Gun training techniques for shotgun and rifle this summer. Two classes will be held in July and registration is limited. Minnesota’s Premeire Firearms Training Facility Del-Tone/Luth Gun Club offers law enforcement personnel the opportunity to “rent the range” for training and evaluation. Numerous shooting and tactical courses are offered throughout the year by nationally recognized instructors or smaller agencies can utilize their own instructors. Del-Tone/Luth Gun Club offers long distance shooting out to 200 yards, and six outdoor bays. Also available are numerous styles of steel targets, portable targets, a precision marksman’s tower (great for observation), as well as barricades and vehicles for dynamic vehicle felony traffic stops. Located two miles from the MN Highway Safety Center in central Minnesota, Del-Tone/Luth Gun Club features an onsite gunsmith and the DPMS Panther Arms manufacturing facility. Rifle/Pistol Range Del-Tone/Luth Gun Club features three rifle ranges, a 50 yard range, a 100 yard range and for our shooters with high powered rifles, a 200 yard range and a pistol range.
