Selling through direct mail and catalog, DeLano Service counts over 15,000 banks, credit unions and savings associations as its customers. No sales staff means low overhead and very competitive prices on standard and custom forms. The business stayed in the DeLano family until 1984, when Roger Ganger, a young man with a solid business background and a lot of energy convinced the DeLano family that he was the man to carry their business into the next century - and bought the company. At about this time, the banking industry began to shrink through mergers and acquisitions, and the need to diversify became clear. In 1990, DeLano purchased specialized equipment for the production of game and educational supplies, and a new speciality was born. Initially producing only collated card decks, play money, flash cards and other printed game components, DeLano continued to add equipment and expertise to eventually become producers and assemblers of complete board games...
