The Delaware Eye Institute is a dedicated group of expertly trained doctors and staff committed to providing the highest quality medical and surgical eye care. Known for our compassionate approach to patients and their families, we provide a caring environment that encourages patient education, and is focused on answering of all your questions. As a multispecialty group, each year our ophthalmologists and optometrist see thousands of new patients of all ages, from infant to adult, for routine eye exams, as well as performing thousands of eye operations each year for cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetes. We have recently opened our new state of the art office complex in Rehoboth Beach. This includes a much needed expanded clinical wing, a full service optical shop, and our new Outpatient Surgery Center with two operating rooms. This one of a kind facility, staffed with nurses experienced in ophthalmic surgery, is designed to enable us to provide the latest techniques and technologies, such as Laser Surgery and No Stitch Cataract Surgery using the new cold tip phacoemusification technology. Our Millsboro office also remains open for our clinical patients as well. As participants in many national research studies, our fellowship trained physicians can often provide to patients with complex and serious eye conditions with the most advanced vision saving medical and surgical treatments available.
