David and Scott Burka have been in the real estate property management business ( www.delbe.com ) for over 25 years. They established Delbe Home Services and developed its franchise concept after receiving maintenance and repair requests from residential homeowners who resided in the communities they managed. Realizing there was a large need for dependable personal service to meet these needs, David and Scott set about creating a concept that would fill this void.

In his new position, Howard Margolis is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the franchise system as well as developing the Delbe Home Services brand into new markets. Margolis has seven years experience in the franchising field in both ownership and business development capacities.

Mr. Howard Margolis received his Bachelors of Science from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1982. Mr. Margolis has over sixteen years experience in management, operations, and sales for both private and franchise start-up and established businesses.

Nancy P., office manager for Chesapeake Finishing in Gaithersburg, said the painting/general contractor company has worked with the Burka’s for six years, beginning with commercial contracts.
