Delta Chemical Corporation began in the 1930's as a manufacturer of industrial and consumer grade sodium hypochlorite. By 1962 the repackaging of chlorine in one ton containers, one hundred and one hundred and fifty pound cylinders was added to sodium hypochlorite production in Baltimore, Maryland.
