Delta Rigging & Tools, Incorporated is comprised of a group of companies which have merged together as of January, 2008. Each former company was an established leader in the industrial marketplace for their specific products and services. The list below provides the former company names and a brief biography for each. Industrial Hoist Services (IHS) - IHS started in 1983 offering sales, service and rentals of hoisting, winching and rigging products to industrial markets and has become the nationwide leader in the rental of air chain hoists, offering hoists up to 100 ton capacities, long lift options, low headroom units and associated equipment for short- or long- term basis. IHS also sells standard packaged hoist products and parts, but can also offer engineered specialty hoists, overhead cranes and material handling elevators for permanent plant installation. To accompany these products, Industrial Hoist Services has a service division which can perform repairs, load testing and certifications both on-site and at our facilities. B&H Air Tools (B&H) - B&H was founded in 1972 and provides sales, service and rentals to a very important market place consisting of refineries, petro chemical plants, power generation plants, shipyards, marine, pipe & structural fabrication, boiler & heat exchanger and construction. B&H represents multiple product lines that specialize in portable pneumatics, portable hydraulics, material handing & lifting, torque, heat exchanger & boiler tooling and hand tools. We also supply all consumable items associated with these product lines. Delta Wire Rope (DWR) - DWR started in 1979 and has been a leading supplier of fabricated wire rope slings, chain slings, Del-Tuff nylon and polyester web slings. DWR provides quality rigging products, such as Crosby, to a wide variety of industries. Services offered to customers include the Testing (both breaking & capacity) and Certifications of wire rope, slings, chain and hoists; Inspections of slings (all types), fittings, hoists, lifting clamps, chain pullers and crane blocks; Repairs of slings, wire rope assemblies, hoists, winches and hydraulic tools; Pre-stressing of wire rope and wire rope assemblies; and Custom Fabrication or wire rope, wire rope accessories, nylon web assemblies and alloy chain slings. American Sling (AS) - AS was formed in 1983 and is a manufacturer and distributor of industrial lifting devices and rigging hardware for the mining, manufacturing, construction and defense industries.
