In 1984, Dependable Swimming Pool Service, Inc., bought a building at 124 S. Rte. 83 in Grayslake, Illinois, and opened a retail store. Now we are a retail store and service company. We specialize in selling Doughboy above-ground pools, Royal spas, gazebos, saunas and swim spas, BioGuard and SpaGuard chemicals, MHP gas grills, and other pool and backyard related products. We also continue to service in-ground pools with openings, closings, weekly service, liner replacement, and repairs.

We also carry a full line of pool and spa accessories, pool toys, ladders, pool heaters or just about anything else you may need for your pool or spa. Our goal is to educate our customers, which is why we pride ourselves on our knowledgeable, friendly staff. Come in and see Alex and our new Spin-Lab. Dependable Swimming Pool Service was founded in 1969 by my dad, Floyd Kildew. At that time it was just an in-ground pool service company.
