Design Automation Associates (DAA) is a software solutions company providing web based, Design-To-Order™ knowledge based engineering (KBE) capability for companies with products requiring custom design as an integral part of their sales process.Design-To-Order™ is defined as the process of designing a new part or a new assembly. These parts or assemblies have not previously existed and their specification usually involves the creation of new CAD drawings.Former United Technologies engineers, John Lambert and Sean Sullivan founded DAA in 1994. John Lambert holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Sean Sullivan holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a graduate of GE's prestigious Edison Program.
