Michael L. His formal education in the field of architecture included an engineering emphasis. He has served as project architect in a broad range of commercial projects, including: businesses, retail and mixed-use flex facilities, multi-family residential dwellings (low to mid-rise condominiums). He also has experience in industrial architecture projects: pulp and paper mills, textile mills, public utility companies, food processing facilities and chemical plants. Hospitality and resort experience includes clubhouses, restaurants and national hotels. Mr. Saieed has obtained more than twenty-seven years of construction and design experience that provide him with the skills required to efficiently execute architectural and construction projects. These skills assist in the development of project scope documents, develop working drawings based on project programming, and provide on-site construction observation. He prefers working in the design-build environment, where the design & budget are prepared by working closely with owner/developers and general contractors in a “team” collaboration. Mr. Saieed has participated in projects ranging from community clubhouses, $12 million condominiums, to industrial expansion projects having design/construction costs totaling $75 million. Steven Hunnicutt Senior Technical Director – Design Element, Incorporated Mr. Hunnicutt has versatile training in a variety of architectural and design software programs including: Autocad, Architectural Desktop, Microstation and Datacad. He is currently responsible for production, scheduling and coordination of projects as well as assisting in quality control. His previous commercial work experience includes: office, retail, medical, hospitality and resort projects. He has also collaborated on several government and municipal projects, including fire stations, wastewater treatment and state ports/marina work throughout the Cape Fear coast area. Along with residential planning and design experience, he brings 3D modeling & animation proficiency, utilizing specialized CAD software such as Sketchup and 3dStudioViz.
