Design Options was founded in March of 1981 by Jerry and Audrey Messerman. Their purpose was to design office tables and peripheral furniture products to support an emerging technology - computers. In the late 1980's, when the pace of economic growth drove the need for office workspace expansion, the Messerman's developed a flexible desking system that could be arranged in a variety of configurations. It quickly outdated the traditional panel dependent systems that were cumbersome and could not react quickly to change.

Design Options desking systems consist of a wide range of worksurface choices, storage products, and screen systems that divide space. Our business principals have always been guided by a willingness and ability to satisfy the customer's needs with quality products, delivered on time, that are guaranteed for life, and supported with outstanding customer service, both before and after the sale.
