Since 1982, Designed Security, Inc. has been developing, engineering, and manufacturing custom and standard state-of-art security and access control peripheral products for the corporate, commercial, government, and industrial marketplace.Most of the standard and custom products, including the electronic subassemblies are designed, engineered, manufactured, tested, and shipped from our 13,000 square foot facility in Bastrop, Texas. Our skilled personnel and modern facility allow us to provide and control all aspects of product fabrication, manufacturing, and testing in-house. This includes: electronic assemblies, board wave solder, metal fabrication, laminating, painting, silkscreening, board burn-in, and final test. This total command of production allows for greater control over product quality, which reduces lead-time and improves customer service. This arrangement also provides for cost-effective limited production runs of products that require custom modification to meet specific project requirements.A primary component of DSI business philosophy is to provide our customers with comprehensive engineering and technical support for all of our products. We believe that effective communication and technical assistance during product evaluation, as well as after the sale have substantially contributed to product acceptance, enhancements and reputation for overall customer satisfaction. DSI security products are marketed, distributed and supported by a National and International Security System Integrator Network.
