Since our inception in 1979, we have offered services of exceptional quality to corporate clients, architects, interior designers, and manufacturers. The primary focus of our activities has been installation of both systems and freestanding furniture for the contract furniture industry. We are continuing to expand our base of operation and the variety of our services. In January of 1999, Designer Installation Services, Incorporated purchased an office furniture/office supply dealership. This added dimension brought to our valued customers a full and complete breadth of products from wood casegoods and seating to open office plan panel systems, accessories, and complete interior design services. With this complete interior office package we are able to provide our customers with a "Turn-Key" operation from the inside out. We maintain a modern and efficient showroom/office and warehouse in Dearborn where we offer a complete range of problem solving capabilities for the contract furniture industry throughout the Midwest. We provide receiving, inspection, storage, delivery, and installation services. We also provide space planning and project management for corporate relocations. We offer workspace refurbishing services to handle and coordinate all aspects of furniture refurbishing projects, as well as on going service and maintenance contracts. This service includes re-fabricating panels, tackboards and flipper door cabinets, repainting metal components, re-upholstery of seating, power cleaning of panels and seating. Also included is the repair, touch-up, or refinishing of wood casegoods. Due to the needs of our multi-location clients, we are capable of providing the same superior DISI quality service throughout the United States using our national network of affiliates.
