Our Production Department is a full service entity of DesignLab. Whether your event lasts one day or tours for a year at a time, the production department is the destination for lighting designers / technicians, rental gear, and sales items. Our professionals work on projects ranging from small weddings and bar mitzvahs to corporate meetings and parties to multi-city marketing tours. They are experienced in taking your show from concept to reality freeing you to spend time working on the fine detailed aspects of your event.

DesignLab continued working with wedding and event planners, as well as companies and private individuals to provide an experience unique and memorable.

DesignLab is one of the largest and most esteemed lighting system vendors in the Midwest. We have designed or integrated systems for many of Chicago's largest and best known theatres, TV studios & churches, as well as venues large & small across the midwest. We handle dimmers from ETC, Colortran, Leprecon, Rosco & a variety of specialty manufacturers, and control from these vendors as well as Martin, Robe, ColorKinetics, Pathway Connectivity, Johnson Systems and a host of specialty manufacturers.
