The State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) is a $1.5 Billion component of the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010 to support state small business capital programs. SSBCI funds may be used to provide credit enhancement to support small businesses lending and may also be used to support equity investment in companies seeking to start up or expand. SSBCI funding can play a vital role in supporting by supporting small businesses of all types.

In addition to our extensive networks, we provide executive management and core services including strategic planning, professional web design, internal and external communications, database and IT systems, accounting, grants management and financial reporting.

We provide entrepreneurial executives who know how to build and grow organizations, work closely with boards and committees, and communicate purpose and benefits to diverse communities.

DCN is a spin-out of regional private equity firm Edge Development Capital (now affiliated with Cimarron Capital Partners). In 1997, Edge helped to launch the National Association of Seed and Venture Funds (NASVF). For over ten years DCN provided the NASVF with comprehensive management as well as selected programming. In 2001, we began providing ongoing association management services to the Council of Development Finance Agencies (CDFA). Since reconfiguration as DCN in 2002, our team has rapidly expanded to build problem-solving organizations and entrepreneurial networks.
