Donald S. Gershman founded Development Resources after a 20-year career with Konover Properties Corporation (“KPC”), a large East Coast development company. As Executive Vice President of KPC, Mr. Gershman acquired and developed office, commercial, multi-family and mixed-use properties, and managed all aspects of the acquisition and development process. Prior to this, as General Counsel for KPC and its affiliates, Mr. Gershman represented Konover in connection with its real estate and corporate legal transactions, supervised in-house and outside attorneys, and served on its Senior Management Team. Mr. Gershman began his career as an attorney with Schatz & Schatz, Ribicoff & Kotkin in Hartford, Connecticut, where he specialized in the acquisition, disposition, development, leasing and financing of commercial real estate, representing banks, retailers, municipalities, developers and other businesses. Mr. Gershman is a member of the Real Estate Finance Association of Connecticut, the International Conference of Shopping Centers, and the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. He serves on the Boards of Directors of The Anti-Defamation League, and of Riverfront Recapture, Incorporated Mr. Gershman has been a speaker at numerous REFA and CBA industry programs and at annual ICSC law conferences.
