Description

Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics is a pediatric practice devoted to the special care of children with a developmental disability. We strive to offer high level clinical diagnostic services, help parents gain the knowledge and capability to care for their children through our medical case management, and improve the competence of community providers who play an important role in the care of children. We provide excellence in service to families and children of special need and work to enrich the community’s capability to provide care.

Our practice is staffed experienced developmental pediatricians, a pediatric neurologist, developmental nurse practitioner and clinical nurses specialists who are specially trained and highly skilled in working with children and families of special need. Some of us have been involved in the care of special needs children for more than 25 years and have treated children with developmental issues that are both common and rare. We strive to help parents and families with all of their questions and concerns.

Adopting a child is a time of excitement and joy. It also can be a time of apprehension. We are eager to support you in this process. Our medical staff is made up of qualified developmental-behavioral pediatricians who have a large amount of experience in children’s health, development and emotional status. For several decades, we have worked with parents who are considering or who are in the process of adoption and are uniquely aware of the challenges and opportunities families face. Having extensive experience in pediatrics and child development puts us in an excellent position to help,especially with complicated health and developmental issues. We have expert capabilities in general health issues as well as the health concerns more common in special needschildren.

Headaches : We provide caring and competent care of children and adolescents with headaches and migraine.
