DEVON USA is a leading developer of warehouse, distribution, and light manufacturing facilities in the Mid-Atlantic area. The company is currently developing space at its parks in Richmond and Hampton Roads, and it controls several well located sites that would be idea for built-to-suit development. Based in Richmond, Virginia, Devon has constructed and/or renovated over 4.3 million sq. ft. of commercial space since 1980. An additional 1.5 million sq. ft. of space is currently under development at Devon's state-of-the-art warehouse and distribution parks in Hampton and Suffolk, Virginia.Devon acts as its own general contractor, and develops high quality flexible projects for long- term ownership within its own portfolio. This enables Devon to deliver its projects with minimal development and general contractor fees. In addition, Devon frequently utilizes 1031 exchange proceeds from the sale of older portfolio properties. The combination of these factors enables extremely competitive pricing of build-to-suit situations.
