Dewetron, Inc. is an American-owned and operated maker and distributor of data acquisition systems, power quality testers, and portable industrial computers. Dewetron, Inc. is part of Dewetron worldwide network, which is centered in Graz, Austria.Dewetron started in Austria in 1989 as a system integrator specializing in automotive test applications . We started making our own PC-based data acquisition systems in the early 1990's, and were an early pioneer in this arena. The company grew steadily, opening offices all over Europe during this time. Dewetron worldwide is a consortium of companies with varying levels of ownership by the headquarters in Austri a.In 1997, we introduced a break-through product, the DEWE-3000, which combined an extremely small form factor with integrated signal conditioning. Dewetron, Inc. was founded the next year to extend the company' s sucess to America. More successful products followed, and the 1990's saw steady growth from both the American and Asian markets.
