Description
We decided to continue a possible outreach program to outlying communities, in order to help show people that George Bush doesn't have a copyright on morality,etc. We created a Media Council in order to inform and educate the community (ourselves included) about stuff that the "liberal" media have buried on the back page. We also scheduled a community showing of the MoveOn.Org film "Uncovered" We set up a booth for Democracy for East TN at the Secret City Festival. We participated in MoveOn.Org Voter Registration campaign. Our immediate goal is to show Bush the road back to Texas!. Future goals include rebuilding the Democratic Party from the bottom up. We work closely with DEMOCRACY FOR AMERICA organization.
