Description
Dial Help was founded in January of 1971. A group of local citizens concerned about drug abuse problems can be credited as the founders of the first crisis line in the Copper Country. Dial Drug, Inc., the forerunner to Dial Help, was established in January 1971, with the crisis line starting operation in September of that year.
Our endowment fund was opened in December 1999. The purpose of our endowment fund is to provide support to Dial Help and our mission which is to promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our communities by providing problem assistance, crisis intervention, referrals, education and training.
In 2012 Dial Help entered it’s 41st year and over those years has helped thousands of people, help themselves, while providing stable services at the same time demonstrating an unwavering flexibility and responsiveness to community needs.
