In this document, we intend to tell the reader about the history of this organization. Most importantly, we will teach you about our continuing commitment to volunteerism, the standards at which we provide emergency services to our citizens, and what the future of those services will look like.
Under “Class Schedules, ” one may find a listing of courses that we host in our facility. These include State Fire Training (both CFSTES and FSTEP) courses, CCAI & ICI Arson Investigation classes, CSTI Hazardous Materials instruction, Incident Command System courses and NWCG Wildland qualification, S-Series classes. Although we provide courses for our own personnel and other local fire service organizations in the Sierra foothills, we frequently enroll personnel from throughout California, as well as students from outside the state. Sometimes these courses provide college credit to students. Tuition is required in advance, unless special arrangements are made with the District’s Training Officer. We accept cash, personal check, agency check, Visa and Master Card. Credit card orders are accepted over the phone.
