Diamondback Engineering & Surveying, Inc . was established on July 1st, 1996. The owners incorporated their years of experience in large engineering firms to create a more personal, customized, and streamlined method of designing, coordinating, and implementing civil engineering projects. The Diamondback method brings together critical relationships, technology, and design experience. Working with Diamondback merges the project steps of surveying, planning, design, and GIS - all with one source of contact for the client!.

Diamondback continues to provide services including grading plans for two new rides at Waterworld and water line designs for the new golf course clubhouse.

Diamondback Engineering & Surveying develops your projects with high quality design, expertise, and environmental and cost considerations. Our principals, John Enochs , Professional Engineer and Jerry Richmond , Professional Land Surveyor each have over 25 years of experience in civil engineering, municipal engineering and surveying. We combine our experience with long term partners in structural engineering, transportation engineering, LEED architecture, electrical engineering, geotechnical engineering, and geographic information systems. Granby Sanitation District Granby, CO District Engineer since 1998. Projects included the design and construction surveying for a sludge composting facility and lift station at a cost of $950,000. Responsibilities also included civil engineering, electrical services and project coordination for the expansion of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The expansion was completed in 2009 at a cost of $7,900,000. DES mapped the Granby Sanitation District's wastewater collection system. The revised map has been included as an accurate part of the Grand County GIS mapping system and we continue to update the GSD map. DES rehabilitated the District's inadequate clay sewer lines by slip lining with CIPP cured in place pipe and continues to provide engineering services to the Granby Sanitation District.

Mr. Richmond’s experience includes 30 years of experience in design and surveying of numerous projects for the private and public sector. Projects range in size from small sewer line extensions to design, construction staking and construction management of water and wastewater treatment facilities, roads and over-lot grading for multimillion-dollar developments, and control networks for aerial mapping. He also served as district engineer for the Three Lakes Water and Sanitation District.
