Dicor Corporation was founded in the spring of 1984 as a supplier of decorative wheel products for recreational vehicles. Shortly after its founding, Dicor formed its first affiliate company, Sealex, Inc., a distributor of rubber seals to the recreational vehicle and related transportation industries. While Sealex today only exists as a brand name, Dicor remains an industry leader in both its initial products.

In 1990 Dicor Corporation introduced EPDM rubber membrane roofing to the RV Industry in partnership with the Carlisle Syntec Corporation, the largest membrane roofing manufacture in the world. Since bringing EPDM roofing to the Industry, Dicor Corporation has become the leading roofing product supplier to RV manufactures and aftermarket distributors and dealers.

“Both these products address what has been an historic issue with some RVs — leaks and water damage,” said Fore. “The industry has gotten better at addressing this issue, but we think these products are a big step forward. We have to remember that the newer, younger RV buyer is not going to be comparing his purchase with a previous generation of RVs, but with his own experience of other quality products. We need to keep stepping up our efforts to meet these expectations.
