Editor & Publisher Nick Dager is an award-winning journalist who has reported on film and television production for more than twenty years. In the early 1980s he was senior editor at Millimeter magazine where he chronicled the gradual shift in professional production from film cameras to video cameras. In the late 1980s as the founding editor of Post magazine he detailed the early days of the transition from linear to non-linear editing.

Valid offerings may include products or processes, and must represent a step forward for its industry beneficiaries. The HPA Engineering Excellence Award is recognized as one of the most important technology honors in the post-production industry.
