Usually when we are archiving photographs, we run across at least one that is a real gem. This is such an example, but needless to say, this picture has seen better times. With care and patience, we can often restore these to their original beauty. Generally the cost of restoration is between $20 and $150. We provide an estimate based on your description of the problem, but we really need to see the photo to provide a final price. The example shown here was difficult because lost details had to be recreated.

Another of our customers found several very old and very fragile glass plate negatives in his attic. We scanned the plates to recreate wonderful old photographs of a town in New York State at the beginning of the 20th century. Now the glass negatives can go to the museum and our customer has photos of his hometown to share and enjoy.

Master Files - cropped, color corrected, and 'cleaned up' images in .tif format 3.)
