DTS ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF NEW SOFTWARE PRODUCT Merrill, WI - October 30, 2009 - Digital Transport Systems, Incorporated announced today that it has partnered with Microsoft Corporation to provide a new .Net version of its Transporter 2000 ® software product. The new product, Transporter 3000, is due to be released on December 30, 2010. DTS, which prides itself on cutting edge technology for the transportation industry, announced today that it has joined Microsoft Corporation's Empower Program for Independent Software Vendors to provide a new version of its already powerful dispatching and trucking software that is written on Microsoft's .Net platform. The new software will offer many new features, as well as significant performance improvements. The new dispatching and enterprise software will offer options, such as EDI interface, Mileage lookup with Rand-McNally's MileMaker ®, direct interface with QuickBooks ® Accounting Software, Document Imaging, Driver Routing, Maintenance Schedules, Driver Hour Tracking, Profit & Loss Reporting, and much more. The new software will support a SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2008 backend database DTS will also offer program customization with the new .Net version, as it did with previous versions, enabling its customers to have the software tailored to meet their specific business needs.
