Direct Development, Inc., a Virginia corporation, was founded in 1984 to provide professional direct mail market expansion services to companies and organizations seeking to increase and better serve their target markets in a cost-effective manner. Since that time we have helped hundreds of clients achieve and exceed their direct marketing and data management goals. In 1984 most of our clients were not-for-profit organizations seeking professional services in their donor development and direct mail fund raising efforts. Our clientele eventually spread out to include for-profit businesses and corporations. We now boast a client list of hundreds of organizations and businesses of all sizes. From the outset we have positioned ourselves in the direct mail market as a full service firm offering turnkey project management including package design and graphics, list research and acquisition, printing, mailing, fulfillment, and strategic consulting services. In 2004 we opened an office in Portland, Oregon, in order to better serve our west coast clients. With the second office now in full operation we have doubled our project management staff and expanded our hours to span more time zones. Direct Development is currently a Corporate Member and Sponsor of the National Catholic Development Conference (NCDC) and a member of the Direct Marketing Association of Washington (DMAW).
